Bas-relief of the 14^th century depicting the death of the Virgin Mary in a very beautiful and very moving scene.

It is part of the seven bas-reliefs on the left side of the red door. Five of them relate to death, burial, resurrection, the assumption and the coronation of the Virgin Mary. The other two refer to the last judgment with Mary interceding with Christ and a representation of the miracle of Theophilus.
